Jase Robertson Thankful for Support

A posting on Facebook by Jase Robertson thanked all those who supported and prayed for his daughter Mia while she is recovering from a reconstructive cleft procedure.  Jase posted, “Missy and I really appreciate the outpouring of support, thoughts, and prayers for our daughter Mia. She is out of surgery and is doing great despite the pain and trauma of going through a reconstructive cleft procedure. Thanks a bunch!”

Apparently the surgery went very well.  Missy Robertson,  Jase’s wife and Mia’s mom, posted this after surgery “Great news! All went well. “Textbook” is the word the surgeon used. We are praising God and waiting to go see our baby girl. Thank you for all the prayers!!!!”

We’re thinking of and praying for you Mia, Jase and Missy.

Snubbed?

Several articles have been headlining their stories with the word “snubbed”, implying that Phil and Jase Robertson had some sort of issue or concern appearing on Barbara Walter’s list of Fascinating People of 2013 television special.   It’s not that at all.  Jase and Phil were not in New York with the rest of the family to appear in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and film the Walter’s special because they were back home doing what they love most – hunting.  Alan, the oldest son, said that Jase and Phil meant no disrespect to Barbara Walters.  “When it comes to Dad and Jase, ducks trump just about anything from late November to late January, it’s just the way they roll!”, he said.

Miss Kay even tells Barbara on the show that “Between November and January, I told him I didn’t ever ...

Jase and Si Roberton Featured in Hallmark #birthdayfail Campaign

Hallmark, the greeting card company, is trying to convince people that electronic cards and texts are not the same as a paper card. To accomplish this they are using the enormous marketing power of the Robertson name to get across their message. Ironically, the #birthdayfail campaign is a series of videos appearing on the Internet. The videos are actually kind of funny, since they’re featuring two of the funniest guys on television, Jase and Si. But are they going to be enough to save the faltering Hallmark?

Here’s one of the videos that appear on YouTube:

Reed Robertson Back on Track With Jesus

Reed Robertson, the 18 year old son of Jase and Missy Robertson, says he is “back on track with Jesus” after struggling to adapt to his family’s newfound fame.  He even contemplated suicide.  In the soon to be released video on iamsecond.com,  Reed admitted that “No one wanted anything to do with a cynical person like me.”

He said that a few years ago he got caught up in the fame and began to think he was better than everyone because of his family.  He started looking down on people and eventually nobody was there for him.  That led to the thoughts of suicide.

Reed, speaking about his youth minister said “I pretty much told him that I wanted to kill myself”.  He wrote a suicide note and was determined to commit suicide until his parents found out...

Jase Robertson at FACA in Henderson Texas

Jase Robertson made an appearance on Saturday at the Full Armor Christian Academy’s Living Loud Outdoors Family Expo fundraiser at the Rusk County Youth Expo Center. Wow that was a mouthful. He gave a speech in front of 4,000+ people (tickets were sold for $20 a pop).

“My recipe for success (is) God, family, and in my case, ducks — in that order,” Robertson said, Bible in hand. He later added, “I relied on this one phrase, ‘It’s not about me. It’s not about me.’ ”

Jase also added.
