A new Facebook page is demanding a boycott of A&E Television until A&E brings Phil back to the show. The Facebook page “Boycott A&E Until Phil Robertson is Put Back on Duck Dynasty” is in response to A&E suspension from the show because of comments he made in a GQ Magazine article ( see Phil Robertson Suspended From Duck Dynasty Indefinitely ). Nellie Andreeva of Yahoo TV posted an article this afternoon outlining the salary increase to the Robertson family. “The family will earn more than $200,000 an episode, divvied up among the nine adults and 11 kids on the show. That is roughly 4-5 times what the Robertsons previously made. Al Robertson, the other member of the Robertson family, appears to be joining the hit TV show in Season for this fall. Al Robertson is often referred to as the “other brother.” He’s been a mystery to most fans and not as easily recognizable (he’s the man without the beard in the photo below). Al is the oldest brother and actually help Phil build Duck Commander during it’s earliest days. Al left the duck call business to pursue full-time ministry.
