It seems there is nothing the Duck Dynasty phenomenon doesn’t touch. Everywhere you go, there is a product with the Duck Dynasty name on it. Now, even newborns are getting the Duck Dynasty touch. The Daily Mail reports that this year, more people than in previous years are naming their children Korie, Mia, Phil, Sadie and Silas. And the credit goes to Duck Dynasty. Naming babies Korie increased by 89 percent, while Mia was up 44 percent and Phil, Sadie and Silas increased 32, 23 and 15 percent, respectively. Willie Robertson Performs at CMA Country Christmas

ON the CMA Country Christmas show on ABC last night, Willie Robertson paired up with Luke Bryan to sing “Hairy Christmas”. Before the performance, Bryan joked that the Robertson men had nice smelling beards and Jennifer Nettles sniffed Willie’s beard and confirmed that it did indeed smell like “Febreeze”. Bryan appears as a guest vocalist on the Robertson’s “Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas”. Duck Dynasty Cast On Barbara Walter’s Most Fascinating List

Barbara Walters has named the stars of the Duck Dynasty show one of the ten most fascinating people of 2013.  The Duck Dynasty cast did not take top honors, however, since the most fascinating will be announced on the Dec 18, 2013 90 minute special.  Others on the list are: ABC anchor Robin Roberts Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence Singer Miley Cyrus Pope Francis Prince George Long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad Kimye (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) NSA leaker Edward Snowden   I’m not sure being on this list is a good thing or a bad thing considering the names on the list.  We’ll just have… Read More »Duck Dynasty Cast On Barbara Walter’s Most Fascinating List

Si Robertson Helping With Pack A Shoebox

Now that Thanksgiving is over and we’re heading into the final weeks before Christmas,  I thought it would be appropriate for me and Si Robertson, to tell everyone about an organization that does a lot of good with it’s “Pack A Shoebox” campaign.  The Samaritan’s Purse organization is a non-denominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.
